  • Easy to use midstream self-test

Any drawbacks to the FertilCheck fertility test

An increase in your FSH level is just one sign that your ovaries might not be working properly. If you are experiencing low ovarian reserve, it is likely that there will also be changes in other hormone levels in your body too. If you do get a positive result, we recommend discussing this with your doctor who can arrange for some further tests to be done.

Who should use the FertilCount fertility test?

This test can be useful for any women who would like to learn more about their fertility and determine if it is possible that they have reduced ovarian reserve.

How to use the FertilCheck fertility test

1. Always read the instruction leaflet prior to use.

2. Hold the test in midstream of urine or dip the end vertically into urine for 10-15 seconds.

3. Lay the test flat for 5 minutes before reading results.

A positive result is indicated by the presence of two red lines in both the test window and the control window. The line in the test window must be the same or darker red than the line in the control window. If you get a positive result, we recommend that you discuss this with your doctor who will be able to carry out further tests.

A negative result is indicated by either:
The presence of two red lines where the line in the test window is a lighter red than the line in the control window or when there is no line in the test window at all. If you get a negative test result, this is an indicator that you don’t have reduced fertility. However, this is not proof of fertility and if you have any concerns, we recommend discussing these with your doctor.

The test result is invalid if no red line appears in the control window, even if a line appears in the test window. If this happens, we recommend that you repeat the test with a new test.
