Role overview

We’re looking for Fertility Care Navigator to join our team at our central Manchester Head Office. As a Fertility Care Navigator, you’ll be the backbone of our fertility services, turning your hand to a bit of everything to support the smooth operation of the business. You will act as a guide for patients seeking advice, gaining an overview of their needs and directing them to the correct care. If you’re an experienced Front of House Administrator in a healthcare field with a strong focus and drive for outstanding customer service, then we’re keen to hear from you.

As a Fertility Care Navigator, you’ll be the virtual front of house for Dr Fertility, supporting our customers and patients, ensuring they receive a great service from initial enquiry through to after care. The role is essential in providing an exceptional and caring experience to all customers and patient. The role will also include back office support that is integral to the smooth running of the clinic and online shop.

Within this role you will be able to make a valuable different to people’s fertility journey at a time when they are feeling overwhelmed and under supported, it will take compassion, commitment and collaboratively working with the wider team as we strive to revolutionise fertility care.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage our digital customer services portal to respond to incoming queries, to make the experience at Dr Fertility as smooth and caring as possible
  • Develop good relationships with third party providers and distribution warehouse to arrange delivery of goods, ordering and booking of tests and appointments, resolving service interruptions to ensure the customer journey is smooth
  • Support our clinical staff with operational tasks to allow them the time to dedicate to their patients
  • Answering calls and helping to direct patients into the most suitable care
  • Perform day to day admin to assist with the operation of the business such as reporting, invoices and delivery notes
  • Liaise with clinical colleagues to support the functioning of the clinic around appointment availability and calendar management
  • What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience delivering exceptional, client focussed customer service in a similar healthcare setting as a Receptionist, Clinic Co-ordinator, Clinic Manager or similar role
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills, able to quickly build rapport and put people at ease
  • Care and empathy, people will often be feeling emotional or anxious and you’ll need to provide a compassionate service
  • Great time management, organisation and flexibility, you’ll need to switch tasks and support where needed throughout your shift
  • Excellent attention to detail, you’ll be doing a lot of administration, so you’ll need to have a solid computing skills and an understanding of the various Microsoft office packages
  • A passion for patient care and teamwork with a strong understanding of patient confidentiality

Location & working hours

This opportunity is for a digital health provider for a company with a head office in Manchester with the option to consider occasional home working. The position is full time 37.5 hours and the clinic operates 10am - 9pm with key hours being 9am - 5pm.
